Why I went Keto as a Weight Watcher Coach
As a diligent tracker and one who logged every piece of morsel that went into my mouth, I lost 9 pounds in 9 months on WW Smart Points Program.
But the pain associated with autoimmune issues resulting from chronic inflammation were still very present and impacted my daily living. Then I received disturbing lab results that required prescription medications and I decided to take matters in my own hands.
I researched and reached out to a friend who guided me to the ketogenic - Low Carb style of eating. In less than 3 months I lost 25 pounds and I have successfully kept them off for over a year.
I no longer need medications of any kind and I feel better now in my 60’s than I did in my 40’s!
